Navasota Independent School District is located in the heart of Navasota, TX. We are the largest employer in Navasota, and our district includes just over 3,050 students and 364 square miles. Our six schools serve students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, and we are looking for passionate, positive leaders in all roles.

At Navasota ISD, we all learn from one another; we are the sum of our collective efforts. Every employee plays a part in our successes, including support staff and administrators, and we are all responsible for leading our students by example. Our staff is encouraged to model behaviors and characteristics for students as they grow within our school district and the community.

  • Navasota ISD's Derek Bowman was named the 2020 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Region 6 Outstanding High School Principal of the Year
    Navasota ISD's Kristi Ramsey was named the 2021 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Region 6 Outstanding High School Principal of the Year
    Navasota ISD's Monica Guerrero was named the 2022 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Region 6 Outstanding Middle School Principal of the Year
    Navasota ISD's Donald Wesley was named the 2022 Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Region 6 Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year
  • Navasota HS Rattlers were State Football Champions in 2012 and 2014

  • Students in choir and band have performed at Regional and District levels
    W.B. Bizzell Academy students are active volunteers in the community, assisting Navasota Kiwanis Club, Navasota Animal Shelter and NISD Special Olympics
    Navasota HS students who participate in Library Club, Fine Arts Club, and Culinary Arts program are being recognized for their accomplishments statewide
    High Point Elementary students who earn Deep Diver and Good Guppy awards are recognized for academic achievement and positive behaviors
